Why does my tax receipt have a different name on it than the campaign I donated to?

The campaign you donated to was started by the person or group whose name appears on the tax receipt. Sometimes, family members or friends start the campaign, even though the name of the campaign or the person in charge of it may change.

For example, moms start campaigns for their kids; so although the campaign name may be “Sally’s Lemonade Stand,” Sally’s mom’s name may be the one that appears on your tax receipt.

If you're concerned that your tax receipt doesn’t reflect your donation, please fill out our tax receipts form and we’d be more than happy to sort this out for you.
