How can I pause or cancel my monthly donation?

You can pause or cancel your monthly donation by following the steps below:

  1. If you have already set up your account, you can log in here: https://donate.charitywater.org/account/login.

  2. If not, you can register your account here: https://my.charitywater.org/account/password/reset (Hint: your account is associated with the email you used when signing up. If you’re signed up via PayPal it may be the first email you used when signing up for PayPal)

  3. Once you’re signed in, hover over your profile photo in the upper right corner and click “Account Settings” in the dropdown. If you’re on a mobile device, click the 3 lines in the upper right, then click “Settings.”

    If you see the box below, please click the link to your Donor Portal to modify your membership. You may choose to Cancel your membership or you’ll have the option to Pause for up to 12 months:

  4. If you do not see the box shown above, please scroll down to the first section "Your Spring Membership," where you'll see a dropdown button to the right that says "ACTIVE" or “PAUSED” or “LAST PAYMENT FAILED”

  5. Click on that button, then the drop-down menu that says "CHANGE MEMBERSHIP STATUS"

  6. Within the popup box, you'll be able to proceed with Pausing or Canceling your membership
