What have you been doing up to this point to fix broken wells?

charity: water has rehabilitated thousands of water points and we know firsthand what it takes to help a community get their water point back online and keep it maintained going forward.

One of the most important things we've focused on since the beginning is strong community training. We fund extensive training of Water Committees whenever possible. Water committees are elected by each village, and they're responsible for taking care of the water point and fixing simple issues when they arise.

This approach has been working and we plan to continue training strong local water committees as the first course of action.

Sometimes, water systems need repairs that are beyond the community’s ability to address and that's why we created Pipeline. Pipeline helps keep water flowing by providing direct support to communities, water committees, and local governments around the world.
