How many glasses/cups/liters/days of clean water will my donation provide?

$40 is the average cost per person to build a charity: water project. That includes funds for sanitation, hygiene training, and our partner's existing maintenance models.

When we implement projects with our local partners, we heavily invest in solutions that can last for generations. A household biosand filter, for example, can serve a family of five for 8 years or more. Our monthly giving program also works to strengthen the infrastructure between communities and our partners, providing avenues to sustain projects as they continue to be used over time.

As we strive to communicate all timelines or volumes with the highest level of integrity, we don't currently measure glasses/cups/liters/days across our projects.
